A Defender 90 with a removable canvas top over an open rear deck — the configuration Von Dur calls a beach truck.

Land Rover Td5 turbodiesel, listed by Von Dur at 160 hp. Olive bodywork in low sheen, with the canvas top, seat facings and dashboard carried in a matching sand tone.

Cream quilted leather throughout — bucket seats in front, a full-width bench behind, door cards and dashboard top. Classic Land Rover instrumentation.

Top removed — the open rear deck and exposed frame that give the configuration its name.
